Description ballpoint and marker.
done at work during an 8 hour shift during down time, which isn't much.
the actual image is small, about 2x3 inches or so. don't really feel like doing more on it right now, kinda wish it was bigger.

I think you've mastered the use of colors with Traditional Media. Simply stunning, man. I think you should keep working on this from there, see what you can come up with.

I love it. I admire your work so much as another abstract artist... it should be a basis for book-learnin'.

dude, i think it's good the way it is. the size is not as important as the affect it has on the viewer. you're doing good man. keep making more so that i can add them to my favorites.

*cool vibes man*

Don't add to it, then! It's a single burst, a solitary glimpse of life at it's most beautiful moments. It reminds me if the blooming of summer.

For some reason, when I look at this, I see a dancer. A dancer in marvellous clothes, in the most extraordinary skirt you could dream up, whirling on stage, sweeping me off my feet like a hurricane. Very beautiful.

I can tell that you scanned this in at really high resolution, but it still holds to be so sharp and detailed.

I was at work the other day (I work on a lake at a marina) and a seadoo had broken down release a thin layer of oil on the surface of the water.......when i saw the colors and the way the curves push and pull on each other it reminded me of your artwork.

when you work small it must get daunting after a while.

hey, that's neat, nice to hear from you.
daunting, yes, at times it's a labor of love. i really am going to have to force myself to draw bigger, and something different.

I think these smaller ones you do are my favorit. If i was to buy a print, it would probably be of these smaller ones with the white background. It really makes it pop..and i cant believe you did this at work with markers >.< heh you suck ~ You're going to be one of those artist who can sell their work done on a cocktail napkin for like 1.2 million some day...i can see it now...

me too. i've found that using yellow marker over certain red or pink pens and pencils gives a nice effect.
