Description
A relatively quick photobashing experiment I made for a personal worldbuilding project.
The city of Makteagaan used to be a relatively small industrial city state located on a lengthy island chain between two continents, until the Beacon, their patron Deity of Advancement, transported the entire city outside of the bounds of reality into the endless void where the people could advance without any outside distractions, influences or dangers so that they might one day be able to rival the other Gods.
The big building in the middle is the temple to the Beacon, which also keeps the portal intact above the city through which light and oxygen from another time and place comes in. The further away from the temple the less gravity there is, and the sheets of ocean water hanging around the city are only held there by the vague suggestion of gravity that still exists there.
