I like the idea of nontraditional beauty, and I see many flowers with missing, torn, non-symmetrical, ect. petals. These sometimes speak to me the strongest. What I enjoy about this photo is although the flower doesn't look perfect, it looks just as elegant.Related content

In this case, the thing we appreciate isn't just one flower. It's an inflorescence that looks like flower. Every "petal" or protrusion is a modified flower. And because of that, they don't give an usual pattern. These parts in fact are arranged in a very tight spiral, instead of group of rings.
