Description when i heard that the colonial theatre would be screening "the terminator" in april as part of their first friday fright night series , i knew i had to do attack it... it's one of my favorite movies of all time!

i'll never forget watching "the terminator" for the first time at a sleepover sometime around 1984-1985. i was at matt sobolewski's house and i distinctly remember my 4th grade mind being blown by the time travel aspect of the film and my 4th grade heart pumping a mile a minute as i witnessed the relentless nature of arnold's path of destruction through LA. top all of that off with stan winston's endoskeleton (which, along with his "predator" design will go down as some of my favorite movie monsters ever), and you have a movie that would leave an indelible mark on me as a kid and would inspire me for the rest of my life.

"sarah connor?"

I had a similar childhood, this was the very first live-action movie I ever watched, and the first DVD that I owned (thanks to my dad for buying it for me at a young age), and man ever since then, this'll always be my favourite movie of all time. I can almost remember every scene in sequential order by heart, I remember re-enacting the action scenes and I always wanted to buy a lot of black shades to imitate Arnold's terminator. Being the first live-action movie I saw, it's also the first time I saw time-travel, blood, gore, gun violence, nudity and sex in a movie all at once. I was never the same. It changed my life too.

"Seh-rah Khan-ah?"
"Yes?"
*BOOM!!*

LOL! Agree with all you've said in the description. This, alone, freaked an 8-year old me to heck, and kept my parents up all night with chronic hallway-light'itis, lol. That epic scene where the T's dragging his severed torso across the floor and towards Conner, started up the nail-biting revolution that plagued me 'til senior high. Single most agonizingly suspenseful scene, ever. Of all time.

And... This poster kicks ass.

I'll never forget in part 2 when Arnold threw the T-1000 against the wall and instead of turning around he melted through to the other side of his own body, such a quick scene but that has stuck with me my whole life...Oh yeah, Love this poster btw, sorry just got caught up in the Terminator nostalgia.

It's certainly a strong image created with obvious skill, but it's kind of misleading and unrepresentative of the actual movie. I see Terminator the machine not Terminator the film.

My media studies teacher made us watch it this in class. He grew up in the 1980s and saw it in theatres when he was like 12. Anyways he made fun of the movie so much in class. Like during the scene when he kills Sarah Connor's roommate he was like this is what 1980s sex was like, thats how you made a sandwich in the 1980s, thats a 1980s pet. But yeah its great movie

I found this in the gallery among other work and it just kept drawing my eyes as I was reviewing and noting peoples work. It merit a comment. I really like the art and attention to detail from Graphic Design view point in regards to the color theory, font choice, unity, layout and overall look. Very nicely done! Pravo.
