I'd recommend to try and mess around with the position of the subject (man in the boat) in these types of shots.

This is just lovely. I'm learning so much from you and your photos and drawings. You have such a way of creating just that perfect pose or perfect angle that will just dazzle the viewer. The crop and the capture are incredible. Those colors are just amazing. Makes me wish I was there. The progression in the blues and greens up until the rocks makes this an amazing photo. Bah, i'm babbling again. BEAUTIFUL work as always and i'm so glad to see you posting again!!!
