Np. It even kind of works since, let's be real here, Super Megaforce barely focused on the Pirate aesthetic.

With the Alien Rangers, I could let them being adapted from a Ninja-themed team to fit an alien motif. Since we already had a Ninja-themed season in Mighty Morphin' Season 3, the suits are simplistic enough to miss the ninja theme, it ultimately led to more world-building and the humanoid zords (both the Shogun Zords and the Battle Borgs) look alien enough to be distinctive from the animalistic Ninjazords.
But here? The Super Megaforce team's main zord is a friggin' PIRATE SHIP, they use pirate-themed weapons such as cutlasses, flintlock pistols and grappling hooks, their helmets are shaped like pirate hats and their costumes resemble pirate costumes. How do you miss that?

Agree, If they knew the theme of the series then just adapt it. or like you said do a mini series like Alien rangers.
