Description A LIGHT-MANTLED SOOTY ALBATROSS (also known as Light-mantled Albatross) perched near its' nesting site on the cliffs above Grytviken, South Georgia Island (South Altantic Ocean).

This is a scan of a 35mm colour slide which I took back in the 1990s.

Yes, I've seen that footage also!

I think they were Laysan Albatrosses landing in their nesting colonies on Pacific islands.
