I'm a bit disappointed with how this came out. I wanted it to be more similar to the original painting, but that proved to be a lot more difficult than I assumed. First of all, calla lilies don't like California's increasing heat and I waited a little too late to set up this shot, and by the time I did, there were only a few left around my house to use. The makeup also took way longer than I would have anticipated and by the time we were finished, my natural light source was absolutely gone and artificial lighting for me is harder to work with at night. Along with the flowers causing a barrier for my subject focus, Jena kept complaining about how cold the fan was. Overall, I think it's okay.
