In the first series, They weren't good I think, but in Shippuuden, they are way better.

Yeah some of the fillers in the first series felt like they were kind of pointless and contributed nothing to the story. I like this season cause most of the fillers tie in with the main story.

Absolutely. I think from the Shippuuden filler, the story of Sora was good, but it created an unnessecary confusion for those who didn't read the manga. Because there too many new character seemingly all to replace Sasuke. Sai was only introduced in the preceeding episodes.

I really don't like how the design of Sasuke was carried over into Sai especially if the two characters are not related or have no relative backstory. It's like how Roxas design was carried over into Ven for the new Kingdom Hearts.

I don't think he did either, but he wanted the same thing as Pein. And in the end, Nagato turned out to be not such a bad person either.
