Description This is my little black masked lovebird, Poot! Poot became a member of our family last October and I have not had a chance to upload a picture of him! He is quite the clown and has so much energy compared to Ulii who will be seven this year. Nonetheless, he is loved

Thank you! They now get along pretty good, Ulii tolerates him at least! At first, Ulii was not very happy, but they seem to have grown closer

Poot! All my birds's names begin with P too
Is he a rescued, or bought?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

studio-emi In reply to emmil [2013-05-19 19:00:06 +0000 UTC]

He is bought. I would have loved to rescue, but we live in a rural area and lovebirds are hard to come by! I bought him from a boy who was home-schooled and this was part of a project for him, so I felt a little better about buying!

emmil In reply to studio-emi [2013-05-19 23:52:05 +0000 UTC]

he was part of a project? So if u didn't buy him, he would be neglected?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

studio-emi In reply to emmil [2013-05-22 19:39:53 +0000 UTC]

I think it was more like a school assignment, maybe a business project? I don't think he would have been neglected, probably just kept with the owner.

He is adorable! His beak is perfect! You aren't worried about him running into the window?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

studio-emi In reply to puffugu [2013-05-19 19:00:56 +0000 UTC]

Thank you, and he does really good with the windows. He is out of his cage 90% of the time, so he is used to them!

Oh wow, you are a great keeper! How do you take care of droppings everywhere? (I'm going to get a lovebird next year, really excited!)

studio-emi In reply to puffugu [2013-06-02 23:29:22 +0000 UTC]

They really just stay in a few spots and I cover those with towels. We have accidents sometimes but they are not too bad to clean up after!
