this is actually quite ambivalent. the color tone makes it seem peaceful but the wilting tree beside the house gives it a somewhat sinister feel.

mmm howe sound.

i'm all over the levels and composition on this one. there's something really magical about the outlines (and only the top) of the mountains in the background, giving the dock an ideal sense of scale.

i'd +fav this if it weren't for the yellow filter. if only you had duotoned or tritoned it, i think it would have been a lot stronger.
