Who doesn't love Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint, and Strax from Doctor Who?I know I do. Hence I went and drew 'em.

I liked the short film they had in theaters, before the showing of Day of the Doctor, where Strax informs the audience of the penalties and punishments for things like talking or texting during the movie, and how Popcorn is alive, and can feel pain, when we eat them!

Yes! Ever since seeing the popcorn thing, I think about it literally every time I eat popcorn or see someone eating it!

"Good evening, I'm a lizard woman from the dawn of time and this is my wife."

Yes, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for them to get their own series, or at least maybe a series of occasional stand-alone specials.
And yeah, this weekend's Who-news makes me sad, even though I guess we all knew it was coming sooner rather than later. On the other hand, it is exciting to think about how they'll handle the transition!

You'd like to hope they might pop up in a special or two, considering their popularity and their lack of being HUGE actors that it wouldn't be too hard to arrange...
And yeah, it's a clever conceit in the show that "who is next?" is just as exciting as the show itself. 11 had a very good run, he's the one that got me into the show - we'll see where it goes from here!

Yep, 11 is my first Doctor, too, and Matt Smith completely kills it in that role. I can't imagine anyone filling his shoes, yet I trust them to take everything in a great direction. Hopefully, anyway!

So many out there who could be great, and I'm sure it'll still be a total surprise when they announce the casting. Just something to look forward to seeing a new interpretation and joining in the fun from the beginning of the next one!
