Artfight dump number four--a whole lotta headshots! First is for Horizon_Draws, second is for Fallingrain, third is for xxSushi_Dragosxx, fourth is for Stormheart, fifth is for Coco101, and sixth is for DestinythePerson!
Horizon was a very fun character to work with, I love how the emerald greens ended up looking with shading and I love the oc's colors in general. Rain was a gorgeous subject to try some soft lineart on--I duplicated the lineart layer and blurred it with low opacity on both layers I think? And then used the blur tool to make some of the scale lines more gentle. I also really liked the idea of a serene jungle scene so I added a little background. Around this point is where I kind of told myself that cell shading was taking just as long as simple soft shading so I went over to simple soft. I believe the HiveWing's name is Blitz? I did them halfway through a whole-hive command because HiveWings are cool okay, I actually did that one streaming on serp server as well. The next one is the first time I drew a hyena and I'm honestly a little disappointed in myself, the shading seems really blurry/muddied and the colors and lines are unclear. I actually really like the dutchie even though it's more of an icon, the colors on the OC were fun to work with. And finally a cell shaded attack that was a little rushed, but look! Snail! :3
