The style of this little pic is inspired by Macross Zero! This is a conceptual art for the "Delta Fighter" - a ship that made an appearance in the Robotech: Sentinels comic series.If you have no idea what I'm babbling about, I don't blame you. I blame fate for crapping on the Robotech franchise. Thanks, fate!

damn, i'd love to see that - but did you hear? the new robotech movie, shadow chronicles, was supposed to have a new fighter which really could connect to the Alpha (legioss) and beta fighter, and it was also named the delta fighter!
what you've made before sounds a lot like armor to make a "Super Alpha Fighter", sort of like the Super Valkyrie back in Macross!
But c'mon, doesn't the Alpha already have a gazillion missiles in it? (if you watch the series and all)

A gazillion *short-range* missiles. Its standoff capabilities could use some work. 
Super Valkyrie? Absolutely...'cept faster, more agile, and can deliver a whole load more whupass!

saw that appleseed design, there's something about powered armor that just seems so cool - do you know the reactive armor you seen in Macross Zero?

I'm not sure... Instructor Ivan (Roy Focker's nemesis in Macross Zero) said it was called a Reactive armor... I think the strike pack is only for Alpha fighters? Oh no! I'm confused...

In classical Macross terms, the booster pack with the leg verniers and gauntlet attachments plus missile boxes on the wings are what were packaged on the toys and model kits as the strike pack.

I wasn't around on Robotech at all during the Sentinels thing, but I was around by 2005 when at least there was some talk on how bad the Sentinels was and should it e canon and stuff. Really though? book 2 sucked? Now why is that?
