I like to think of OuAT as a giant fanfiction written by the 2 authors. Β Emma, Henry, and a few other non traditional fairytale characters like Baelfire and Mila are their OCs.

Anybody who dislikes RumBelle because "it's too much like the Disney version" obviously doesn't know that OUaT is made by ABC AND DISNEY. So they INTENTIONALLY left Easter eggs throughout the entire series relating to other Disney things.
