haha, no doubt! not to mention that you actually have to MIX your colors! I haven't done an ACTUAL painting in sooo long! this is awesome work, you still got it! did you draw in pencil first or all paint?

pencil sketch first than paint, then re-gesso character, repaint. I still need to improve but not bad for 15 hrs.

Amazing for 15hrs!! really great work. I bet the original looks extra-stunning!!

I'm reading through James Gurney's "Color and Light" and thats got me wanting to do some plein air painting, and more REAL painting in general

Color and Light is a great read and very informative. Plein air painting sounds good too, but we still have snow so its a no go right now :/

yeah, C&L rules!!! I wish it was in the curriculum at MIAD, I have learned soo much so quickly!

I have actually never plein air painted, gotta get on that!

Sorry to hear about your snow just saw in the forecast we got some more coming here in Chicago, just when we thought it was Spring! lol
