I loved Merle. He was an amazing character. Probably my 3rd favourite after Daryll then Michonne. ;-;
It was touching when he tried to do the right thing though.

to be honest, he wasn't by far one of my favs, he mostly was a jerk. But those episodes i started to see that with patience they could actually bring to the surface the good side of him. The good Merle, the one that his brother wanted back. the one that the group could start to like. He could have had a new family, a new chance, as Michonne told him, cause she saw that in the inside he was actually good.
I have to say his dead touched me a lot. A lot that i wouldn't expected from him. Im grieving.
