Description
An ornament once owned by my mother sits on my mantel piece. One night I photographed it by the light of a low lamp.Its a bit low res, need to find the original version.

Yea a few have said that on another site. Theres a story behind this cat.See years ago I had a ginger cat called Amba, but I got my own place so he stayed with mom. Then she was bought this ornament which she loved. 2 years ago she died and I brought Amba home. So he's kind of a special cat!

No cos we already had a cat then,but luckily my sister took him on. Unfortunately he died not long after. I think he missed mom. Sorry can't say anymore

Oh its OK. I just get upset at times but it does get easier. I just had a hard time of it because I was living here 200 miles away while she was very poorly and I was unable to be there. Then Matthew came along by emergency C section and then mom died and with Helen not feeling great and me on anti depression pills it was not a great time. Still not got to see her grave stone yet. Pay my respects and such. Just too far away and I'm tied with my kids and stuff. Oh I'm rambling!

I know how that is. My mom was diagnosed with cancer and died just a few months afterward. She was too sick to attend my wedding. It's always the little reminders that make it tough!
