This is only my third attempt at drawing Drizzt, and only the second I'm willing to show anyone. In an attempt to make him look really elven I've tried to reduce any signs of ageing from his face and a few of the more masculine facial features. I think it looks okay.This picture has actually produced a degree of disagreement in my family, with virtually everyone claiming that I've actually drawn a woman..... My mother is the strongest supporter claiming Drizzt has a feminine face, girly hair, feminine waist and hips and of course breasts. I still think that Drizzt has at least a vague masculity about him but then again I drew him.

Elves are sorta feminine anyway, and Its your art, it doesnt matter. I personally think his pants are too tight XD

Tight trousers...... the result of years of drawing characters with no clothes (anatomical drawing practice). I'm not really used to drawing a lot of clothes....this should improve. But surely tight figure hugging trousers are better for not catching spinning scimitars mid spin than loose floppy things? An elf could have a nasty accident......

It's not a perm it's natural.....honest.....
Drizzt is a character from R.A. Salvatore's extremely popular and very good dark elf books.

A hundred times better, especially The Dark Elf Trilogy. It's proper grown up fantasy. I have no idea if you'd like them but you should definetly find out. Their really good. Better than Lord of the Rings in my opinion, and far more accessable

The dark elf trilogy- homeland, exile and sojourn- but you can read most of them without reading those that come before. If you can't find those the hunter's blades trilogy is good too but their the most recent.

can i get these in the library? or will one need to buy?
are they the type of books that make you wanna read them loads? and once you start you can't stop? are they easy to read?

Once you start you'll want to read them all. They should be in the library but with merthyr library who knows......

He doesnt have breasts, he has pecs. Believe me...Id be worried if mine looked like that.
Hes got a smooth face but a masculine jaw line and nose, and elves are infamout for being androgynous , anyway.
...Ok, so he has a bit of a perm, perhaps he would look better wilt straight hair and warrior braids? lol!

I would draw feet but I draw A4 and I can never quite get the size right to include feet. I will endeaver to include feet in my next drawing......
