first drawing in charcoal so dont be too harsh on me....didnt take too long, i actually like charcoal better than graphite...although it gets used up 100 times faster, and is much messier, it doesnt have that horrible shine that graphite has...but anyhoo enough analysis of charcoal......yoda...dont get all star wars'y on me..i dont really like the movies that much but i like this little dude.Related content

yep charcoal..its so much better than graphite because it doesnt go shiny and streaky! its an awesome medium

useing it, you've done a incredible job! Now comes the fun part, perfecting your tallent! Try
using different kinds of paper, also try using blending stubs. I do use different levels of pencils,
to get the details, like in the eyes, and hair. Well anyways, good work, have fun with it! CK

very impressive!!!!! i really like how you handle the middle tones, from darkest tones to lights, with a soft way of doing it, just, in the arms and the apparel, try to fuse a little more with the background, as if the obscurity was invading or wrapping the form, so, Congratulations!!!

ah ok...there was a little bit of fading like he had hair or something but i didnt know how to do it so i left it out....ah well ill keep practicing
