LIL BACKSTORY.

Today we had to make a “painting” in computer science using ONLY the “shapes” in Power Point. To be honest, I was DREADING using Power Point again because I found it tedious to make presentation, and DRAW with it nonetheless, with my good eye being incredibly itchy and swollen, at 8 fuckin AM.

I was convinced everybody else would do the same stuff: stick figures, 3D cloud effects, ugly exaggerated colors (such which would actually be the only real problem) and white backgrounds.

To be fair not many girls are taking this subject and don’t use the computer that much, but rather stick to phones. I can relate to that. And though boys use the computer more, they use it more for games than for projects. Again, I can relate to that.

But instead doing the same old thing that looks like an eyesore MS Paint drawing crossovers with The Amazing World Of Gumball, I decided to live up to the star pupil title I made for myself (the holy trinity: English, Computer Science and Chemistry) and go a bit more original

Steven Universy if you may

It went from a tedious chore to a satisfying work.

I’m pretty sure all of those who tried drawing in power point (which  I suppose are rare individuals) could guess the procedure.

(Sort of a tutorial or guide under the cut)

I used simple gradation, laying shapes over each other and pill shapes for a more neat look, and in the end just turned all the outside lines the same colors as the main shape.

The best part here though is that I actually put my art knowledge in a good grade that wasn’t from art class

And though it may look complicated I was actually the first one to finish and present it.

Simple and sweet.

PS: I know that putting a softer yellow or something up there would work even better, but I ran out of space. I was kinda going for something like the Crab Lord Picture, But I had to simple it down. Besides, if I put the extra step it’d kinda destroy the whole thing I tried to make with clouds transitioning from the white into the light blue. Thought it’d look nicer like that.
