Description The anaconda is the biggest snake in the world by weight. Anacondas live in swampy areas of tropical South America. It spends a lot of time in shallow water, hidden from unsuspecting prey.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! My favorite snake right before my eyes!! Great... Awsome pic! Just saying something for nothing but the bigest snake ever was 37 ft and it was an anaconda! There have been reports of anacondas 130 ft in length but we know now that would be improbable due to how for nervous signals would have to travel. Some sauropods had two brains to deal with this!

That freaked me out when I learned Anacondas can be found in trees! Fortunately it is the younger ones and not the 550lb adult ones.

Articulated?! Hihi I think you mean a reticulated phyton! Yes, there're the longest snake, but the anaconda is more heavy.
