i love these icons - they are the best available and i've been using them for a while now. however, i'm now using leopard and when viewing stuff in coverflow they unfortunately dissapear. perhaps a future leopard friendly set could include a slighly lighter shade or some sort of tiny outer line to distinguish them in coverflow?
i'm still using them because, like i said, they are totally the best out there - but that little detail would make me very happy indeed

I have just released the original psd so anyone can mod the icons to their own preferences. They are all made out of paths so feel free to go for a Leopard friendly version

Just found out Myriad Pro is included in my Adobe package, so I can get playing right away
Going to experiment with white text too..
Last couple of Qs.. Do you know if there's a way to change System Preferences icon? (I'm using ShapeShifter, which has changed some icons using your pack, but not all of them oddly enough..)
Also could you please supply any 'generic' PSDs you have as well pretty please, such as the CD with white text, and folder icon?
The rest of those custom uber-sexy icons I'll just havbe to find a way to utilize

However as you can see there's still a few items in the doc that need icons, and quite a few more in the finder (yup, I want skin EVERYTHING ;-p )
Just downloaded the trial of Pixadex so can at least make a few icons (and skin that WoW icon with yours), though I'd love to be able to skin my own with your help..
Do you have a PSD or something used for this? I'm relatively comfortable using Photoshop (and that looks like the original layered version would still be text editable). Would be great to have the right size, gradient etc as the rest..
Or perhaps you could point me in the right direction to make my own?

You can get a template for creating your own text icons here
For the finder icons, you can use the templates reflection and instead of text use anything else. It's quite simple

a lot of those icons are still in .icn format, so i'm having a hard time figuring out how to replace the icons in candybar; when you drag the icon into candybar, it just turns it into a "preview" looking icon. help!

I presume you are in OS X, so:
1. The easiest way: Use CandyBar to change any icon in your system.
2. The manual way: Copy the icon you want to use. Ctrl-Click the icon of the app you want to change. Go to "Get information". Click the icon on top of the dialog that pops-up. Go to the "Edit" menu and select "Paste".
