91/30s.. eek. What a way to destroy the look and feel of the period with post war (world war 2) refurbished 91/30s. A pity..

You wanna buy these guys some G98s? Hah! These Mosins are like $120 each, much easier for reenacting. 91/30s are around like bees in a hive. Everywhere. So the moral of the story is don't count your horses before they hatch.

i know.. but one can use period steyrs all day long for 100-150. I know ive owned them.

and they would more historically accurate than German reanctors of WW1 running around with 1930s/40s Soviet MN 91/30s. Which didn't even exist; let alone be used by the country in question. Thats my main hick up with the reenactment pictured.
Hell they could used $100-150 Turkish Gew98s.. no one would have been the wiser.
