There was no longer any resistance for either Shauntel or Caitlin. All sense of self had faded into the air that now filled them. Now all the remained was the air. All that remained was obedience. All that remained was their true selves.
"Drifblim... Drifblim..." The two repeated again and again with their glazed over eyes. Lost to the powers of the Drifblim that hovered behind them. The one they obeyed. The one who knew the truth. That they were simply Drifblims just like it. That was all that mattered as they floated behind it. Ready to obey and perhaps have others become their true selves as well.
