I love this drawing, cause I think I've improved my portaits and my digital painting ^^* yeah! I'm happy!!!

yes, I know, I've to improve the arms in my portaits...but I don't know how to give volume to the arms!! the face was easier, cause is round,and I could paint a lot of shadows... but the arms...How I give volume to the arms? shadows too? I don't know....LOL

Studying real life shadows would be the best thing, because it's hard to describe for me also. But in the Reina picture, it looks like most of the shadows on her arms are just outlines, so maybe if there was only a single light source it would look more natural for the time being? Hmm... did you reference a picture, because the answers could be there. ^^
