That's awesome work!
I haven't yet figured out how to make such smooth shapes. Mine have always so much grain in them

Thanks As the name suggests... gaussian blur is the starting point. Carefully adjust the gaussian blur value plus the TX weight then use a high render quality

Still love plastic-type flames - I know there's lots of new stuff about but just because it's new it doesn't necessarily mean it's better!

Yep - definately agree with you there. Thats why I havn't really bothered spending much time with Apo 3D. The stuff that I'm seeing from people may be novel but for me a lot of the 2D stuff on DA is still much better.

Old school can still be good school - especially when the work is as well done as this!

Heh heh - just looking at this for some reason it reminds me of the graphics on the box of that old board game HeroQuest.. anyone remember it from when you were small?

It may be old-school but it's just beautiful to me! I love the coloration of greens and golds and the 'lastic' texture is really awesome! Definitely going into my 's!

I'd also love to feature this piece in my journal this week if I may?

I'd be honoured I've just uploaded a new version with a slightly snazzed up border...
