cyanotype print with oil and acrylic paint on linen

I did this after returning from a trip to Las Vegas. Nevada is a strange place, while you are at one point overwhelmed by huge dazzling tourist traps that are so big they take on a life of their own, you can drive for 15 or 20 minutes and be equally overwhelmed by the brighht and astonishing desert wilderness (in this specific case Red Rock Canyon). I thought of it like conjoined twins that are joined physically as one, yet still preserve the individual personalities of seperate beings. Here's a technical process overview of how I got to this result:
-Take photos, combine into background landscape in photoshop
-print out a negative from this digital image
-use the digital negative to make a cyanotype print on linen
-seal print with clear matte gel medium
-draw front image, transfer onto cyanotype landscape
-color in
