So I'm kind of on a Star Wars binge right now... and it was about time. Marcus is part of my holy trinity of long standing OCs along with Ryan (X-Men) and Alex/Aiko (YGO).

And I've been needing to redraw him after I polished up his design from February.

This is a sort of "what if" scenario if he hadn't left the Jedi order. I saw the Temple Guard uniform, loved it, and it's been sitting in my phone waiting for me to draw Marcus in it.

Story Time (this is Marcus' canon story):

Marcus was born the bastard son of the ruling prince of his home planet of Rhema. Rhema is in a constant state of civil unrest as the four leading families of the planet are always fighting for dominance. Another uprising broke out shortly after he was born. For their safety, his mother took him and fled to stay with her brother on Concord Dawn, but she died shortly after. When he was four, Marcus was separated from his remaining family after one of the battles of the Madalorian Civil War.

He was later picked up by the Jedi and brought to the temple. Here he lived and trained for 15 years.

Meanwhile on Rhema, Marcus' older brother, Drezzd'n, had become the ruling prince after their father's death and the planet was enjoying a momentary time of peace. Unfortunately, Drezzd'n had grown terminally ill, and his only heir, Zardeth, was not of age to rule. So he sent people to find his brother, so they can keep the rule in their family and hopefully prevent another rebellion.

They tracked him down to the temple, and asked that he return to Rhema and take his place as High Steward until Zardeth was of age. Knowing that leaving the Jedi would be throwing away his future, for the sake of keeping the peace in Rhema, he agreed.
