I'm sorry for making it so long and poorly written, English is not my primary language so I really have no idea of how I can put it. I had a loooot of trouble with many specific words, so if something sounds weird or nonsense, it's me.

Also I'm not using to drawing animals, so... ORZ. But I hope you like it! I didn't make her outfit too complicated, because I thought that perhaps other people would have to draw her on the contest.

When her father discovered that his wife was being harassed by a member of nobility, he furiously chased the man and ordered him to stop that. The nobleman laughed, saying his wife was only one more of the poor castle workers, and she was already so dirty that it wouldn't make any difference at all. The father freaked out, and the nobleman inconsequently killed him.

Many crooked members of nobility were used to this kind of crime; since they had a lot of money and influence, they often got rid of any punishment, or their crimes weren't even made public. The queen was already losing control of the situation, despite her efforts, because the fight with the king made her weaker and lose many allies, and with that lose power and money to keep the kingdom.

Mystiril's older brother, Coppert, had known that father went to talk with the nobleman, and discovered he was murdered by him.

Coppert was a member of a revolutionary group which wanted the end of that crooked people's government, and the beginning of the folk's government. This group wanted democracy, and not monarchy. Coppert had a burning spirit; he wasn't afraid to fight for what he believed right. And he believed that such abuses the nobility committed were totally wrong, and should have been punished. He believed that many people suffered with so much misery and starvation, and those people should be helped. Those people deserved to participate of the government too.

So Coppert and some of his democratic group friends went to the castle, and caused a huge confusion, exposing clearly that his father was murdered and his mother was being harassed by a nobleman. They also exposed the horrid situation many poor people lived there, excluded and without any help.

The nobility got furious. The queen had a tough time; she knew many people needed her help, but she was afraid to lose powerful allies on difficult times like that. If all those rich people went to the king's side, she would be definitely doomed. Then, she ordered a judgment.

Mystiril's family was blackmailed by the nobleman; the mother and her kids were so afraid of dying like the father. They were all confused and extremely sad for the father. The mother felt that it would be better if she lied on judgment, because this way she could save the rest of the family from the nobleman's threat. When she was asked if the nobleman was abusing her, she denied, for the surprise of the entire family.

It was a great scandal. The nobility was quite satisfied. Coppert and his friends were totally frustrated. After much pain, the queen could avoid the group was sent to death, but unfortunately, they would have to be arrested, or else she would cause the anger of noblemen.

Before being arrested, Coppert cried out for his family, and asked them for help. He asked them to tell the queen that they were innocent, and the nobleman did commit those crimes. Nobody had courage to defend him, and he was arrested. Mystiril really trusted the queen, for all the good things she ever heard of her. She believed that the queen wanted to help them. She wanted to ask for her help. But she was too scared to do that. And she cowardly let Coppert be arrested.

After that, the mother was unable to maintain all the family. The field didn't support any more crops, and the family plunged into hunger. Some of her brothers became thieves, some of her sisters went to prostitution very young. Mystiril didn't know what to do.

Then she met the revolutionary group's leader, Archer. Archer met the group some time after Coppert was arrested, but achieved the group's lead rather fast, for his charisma and knowledge. He was a traveler from far away and had some money. For believing on democratic ideals, he joined the group. Archer offered her and her family help; she and her mother instantly accepted. Some of her bros and sis didn't, though.

With their support, Mystiril was able to do things she had never done before. She started studying and going to different places. She met new people with many new ideas and interesting thoughts. She could start helping some people that were in the same situation as she was. She was happy to have such a great opportunity, and felt sorry for her relatives that couldn't have the same chance.

But, she still held a great confidence on the queen. So, she couldn't agree on monarchy's end. But she tried to hide it. And she did it well. It would be ungrateful of her to disagree with the group. She believed that the poor people did deserve attention, help and power, and the crooked people did deserve punishment. But she believed that the queen was an excellent and knowledgeable person, and she would be able to do that if she had more support.

On a certain day, Archer and his group mates asked Mystiril to join her on an action. They were going to invade (break in) the prison and freed Coppert and the rest. Mystiril was afraid, but she remembered she was once a coward and her brother suffered unfairly because of her mistake. So she decided to go. Everyone got a weapon to fight, as she also did. So, they went to the prison.

Most of the queen's army was out for a battle with the king, so they thought it would be easier. Unfortunately, it was worse than they expected. When they were escaping with Coppert, the soldiers got them. Mystiril was totally scared; and the soldiers started teasing her because she was a woman. Archer got mad, but Mystiril asked them to let them go. She said she wanted to join the queen's side. And she begged to them that they would let her join, and let them go.

The soldiers laughed at her, and she screamed for her shocked partners to run. Archer wanted to fight the soldiers, but Coppert noticed they were outnumbered, and the group confusingly ran away. While on their escape, Archer shouted that he was sorry, and he shouldn't have callled her. Mystiril kept screaming and started running in direction of the castle. She was afraid the same thing her mother suffered would happen to her. The soldiers were almost getting her when luckily, a member of the council was passing by to check what was going on.

Mystiril quickly begged for help again, and she said she wanted to join the queen's side. The council member was a kind old man, and he understood Mystiril's intention. The soldiers said that there was a mass escape from prison, but Mystiril soon said that it was her brother and friends, who were unfairly arrested. The council remembered the case, and he ordered the soldiers to nevermind that. The soldiers did shut up and go away, what made Mystiril surprised.

Then she learned that the old man was Hugh, a well known council member that was loved by the poor people, but seen as a fool by the nobility. He was a good person as well, but couldn't make much thanks to the mean and greedy noblemen who imposed their acts to benefit themselves. The soldiers were somewhat poor, so they probably respected Hugh.

So, Mystiril joined the castle team. She started as a simple maid at the council office, but her previous experiences and her knowledge gave her attention from the others. The queen learned about her, and she went to met her. Mystiril was incredibly pleased to meet the queen!! In a private conversation, Mystiril confessed everything that happened, and she felt she really wanted to help the queen. She wanted to help the poor people, but she didn't want democracy. The queen liked her a lot, and felt she could trust her.

So they began helping each other. Mystiril was given elegant clothes and great living conditions. She had access to the royal library, which allowed her to study even more on people's behavior, story, and natural problems. She was still very young, on her teens, and such a sudden transformation really called everyone's attention. People on the castle began being interested on her. By remembering how Archer used to speak, she also began to get more speech ability. Most important men were only interested on her because she was a female, but regardless of the motive, she was drawing a lot of attention and prestige. It was almost like an impossible story - someone so poor and with no study to become like her. The humble castle workers admired her a lot and gave her a lot of support. The queen was really satisfied with getting such an ally. And also was Hugh. Mystiril felt much much thankful to all of them, she could barely believe that this was happening.

Meanwhile, Archer and the group learned about Mystiril. They were happy she was safe, but at same time so disappointed on her. They invested a lot on her, and then she turned back for them. Mystiril knew that and she felt terrible about that. But she still thought she was doing the right thing.

Hugh's age was advancing, and he was suffering the consequences. He was frequently sickened and couldn't work nor rest well. He told Mystiril that he wanted her to be on his place, and he would be by her side helping her with the council, so she could finish her studies and become a very good council member and help the people. Mystiril was very surprised, she was only 21. Wouldn't she be too young for such an important job? Hugh was sure that they could turn this to their advantage. So, Mystiril accepted it, and the queen decided Mystiril would be the new council member.

And Hugh was right; such a young woman from the folk to reach this occupation, mainly reserved to old noble men, called a lot of attention from the other kingdoms. It wasn't much, but at least the queen and her kingdom was being more noticed now.

Still, Mystiril couldn't voice her thoughts well on the castle. The nobility was still dominating everything, and such revolutionary ideals would be a reason for joke, just like it was before with Hugh. Mystiril was at first quiet and cautious about what she said. She was waiting for the right moment to show her proposals.

After a morning visiting the castle's surroundings and some humble families, Mystiril and Hugh went to the castle's garden.
There something truly outstanding and rare happened.

A baby dragon appeared!!

Dragons were almost extinct and they were becoming legends. People admired their strength and greatness so much. But their exaggerated usage on wars and conflicts led them to such rarity. It was like a miracle to find one so suddenly. It seems like the mother of the baby hid her egg on the gardens some time ago, afraid that she would be sent on a war.

The baby dragon was shy at first; Hugh and Mystiril, uber shocked. But the dragon seemed to like the two. Especially Mystiril. She wouldn't stop chasing her. It was known a dragon would choose his human partner as soon as he sees it. So, Hugh understood what was going on and asked her to give the dragon a name; Mystiril was so confused, why would this happen to her? Wtf had she done to deserve a baby dragon all of a sudden? Hugh laughed and said it was destiny; it was a huge opportunity to definitely conquer prestige and importance, so she could help the queen and weaken the crooked nobility. Above all that, Hugh said that the dragon trusted Mystiril and could sense her feelings, and would be willing to be by her side to help her achieve her dreams.

So, Mystiril named the dragon Keira.

The announcement of a newly discovered dragon surely went far away, and the other kingdoms didn't hide their interest. However, it was too far away - some important noblemen wanted to have the baby dragon themselves. After all, why would a mere 21 year old girl have such an important creature, and them, so rich, experienced and important, wouldn't?

At same time, it helped Mystiril and Hugh to be better respected among the nobility, allowing her to slowly show what she really wanted for the kingdom. The queen alerted her about how many people wanted to steal the baby dragon, despite being known that a dragon would only obey the first partner, and she got aware of that. In the meantime, the democratic group was scared, and decided it was better to face against the queen before the dragon grew up and became an even worse threaten.

It was really striking, Archer and Coppert to know the new baby dragon partner was Mystiril. They knew she was a dedicated youngster, but still, they wouldn't expect for it. Mystiril was a strong person, but not that strong. She was also fragile and could act cowardly sometimes, like she always wanted to avoid conflicts. The strongest thing she had was her feeling of wanting peace and wellness to everyone. She didn't want much power, she didn't feel as strong and courageous as her brother Coppert who defied the queen even when he was powerless.

However Mystiril knew that those people who were having hard times needed her, and that she couldn't back out cowardly for the third time. She promised to Keira they would manage to bring peace to the queen's kingdom. Besides bringing attention, Keira was also able to breathe small fires, fly and make some attacks, like scratching and biting. That wasn't much, but was enough to maintain Mystiril's personal safety. That was great, according to Hugh, now they wouldn't have to worry about being attacked by noblemen.

And now, what a situation. The king is fighting against the queen. The revolutionary group will start rebellions and gather forces among the poor families in order to destroy monarchy. Some other kingdoms want the dragon to themselves. The queen is lost among the few noblemen, who are crooked, willing to help her. And Keira is still a baby, unable to join big fights.

Mystiril and the queen are surely on a gigantic trouble...
Will they be able to overcome it?
Will Mystiril be able to go against Coppert and Archer?
