If it were too look a little more like a keyblade, the wings on the the one side would have to be more facing out, so as to resemble teeth.
It's very good though, I must say.

sorry bout that, i usually do read the captions. What program do you use to draw your keyblades? I have some good ideas, but I want to improve on them before I post them.

i just do a basic frame in MS Paint because it's just simple and then i transfer that over to Photoshop CS3

oof. By the way do you use normal paint or paintshop pro? If it can be pretty basic, then its ok, but more detailed could be a problem

well this was just a stupid scan.

I used just MS Paint, not Paintshop pro.

TIP: Curved line tool is your friend

Ok cool. Hey I downloaded the trial version of the photoshop and I have never been so confused in my life. If u got time and don't mind helping a bit, do you think you could tell me what tools you use for what and how to do basic things? I totally understand if you don't feel like wasting your time teaching morons the basics of photoshop, so just let me know either way.

Thanks a lot but i can't seem to get a hang of photoshop. If you have any additional tips or websites that can teach photoshop, it is much appreciated

no it's cool

photoshop just takes a while to get used to.

ok. now you have your standard toolbar on the left (gradient button, eraser, lasso tool, etc.) and then there's the tabs up above (filter, file, edit, image, etc.)and the extra windows like navigator, history, etc.

Ok, things that you just want to play with on your own are Dodge, Burn, and Smudge. The Magic Wand is really awesome because it selects colors similar to each other so you can edit things easily. The last thing that will come in handy a lot will be the Polygonal Lasso tool. This thing is awesome.

Anyways, then the tabs/menus up above you wanna play with are Image -> Adjustments and the Filter stuff. That's vital to changing colors and styles of images.

Also, when you're making an image it's better to have more layers than less. to make a new layer just go to the layer window and click the little arrow at the top right corner and select new layer. from here, you can change the layer opacity and even right click to choose blending options like outlines and gradient overlay and stuff like that.

i hope this helps.

np man i remember how long it took me to get used to photoshop.

I still haven't learned all the tricks but i really want to know how to do layer tricks and stuff like that. I've been wanting to do realistic stuff for a while but this is all i can muster.
