Best viewed on full by the way. COMMENTS PLZ!This is the painting of Ho-oh that I mentioned in my journal. I stared it on Sunday night, the drawing part,and finished it off last night.
I used the Japanese art style that they call " sumi-e (åĒĻįĩĩ )."
Seeing as how Ho-oh resembles a Phoenix, the pose was perfect for it.
The stuff around Ho-oh is pieces if the rainbow that it creates while it's flying, it was going to be painted as fire originally, but I said, forget it. That's what everyone expects of it right? Besides, ho-oh is the Rainbow Pokemon isn't it?
I know what I was doing when I painted this pic, i know Ho-oh neck is supposed to be thinner, but imagine it fluffing it's feathers whilst flying high in the sky.

It makes a small appearance at the beginning of Giratina and the Sky Warrior too.

I do the same thing,too. I practice everyday just about all day. I draw on my test papers, my reports, my notes... I'm a drawing machine... ^-^

Ho-Oh was from the Jotho Legends,although it showed up in the very first episode of the anime series. (I still remember that day,I played Red and never saw Ho-Oh before,so I wanted to know so badly what pokemon it was in that first episode! xD; )

I still remember that day too, I was really taken by that Pokemon and tried to draw it the first time that I saw that episode I still have the drawing somewhere in my room, if I do manage to find it, I'll feature it in my gallery as a treat for all my friends!

I always prefered Ho-oh over Lugia, so that's why I had the Gold version back then.. Teddiursa and Phanpy were version-inverted at the International release but it's gonna stay like the Japanese version in HeartGold/SoulSilver (Phanpy=HeartGold Teddiursa=SoulSilver)

I couldn't get the Gold Version, so I was given the Silver, my friend gave me the Silver Version, she had two of them XD What was she gonna do with TWO of the same versions?
I love both of them to bits, but I love Ho-oh more XD

Yeah it would be, I do ocasionally do it when it's really loud and very busy though. People piss me off when they don't go doing their part of the job.
When I first started, there was this big burly girl who literally screamed in front of the pass window and both the mother and the child heard her, and they looked at me. I had the look in my eyes " Don't look at me, I didn't scream like that! "
All because we WERE close to closing, the flattop grill was shut down, and YET we were asked to make a grilled cheese sandwich. We did tell the waitress no grill stuff, yet she lets the customer order that.

You should get it for the Wii, it's better, despite that sometimes it doesn't recognize some of the strokes from time to time( which can get frustrating during a battle), other than that, it's a really super awesome game! I would definitely recommend that game to play!

This is gorgeous! I love the fact that you lengthened and tapered the feathers on the wings -- the official artwork has them blunted/squared and it drove me crazy for a long time.
