YORONII

Yoronii are a post-apocalyptic humanoid species, that were forced to live on another planet.

Life on this planet comes with a few difficulties including a seasonal event called 'Decay' or 'Gensui'.

During this season all life on this planet dies if it doesnt have a way to protect itself.

To be able to survive Gensui there is some kind of armour covering parts of their legs and arms. These armours didnt come naturally to them. A Scientologist came up with a formula, after years of self-testing. Before the formula billions of humans died. Once injected the armour slowly starts to build and takes different forms. May it be natural or unnatural material. The armour protects the Yoronii from Decay, even if it's just made of feathers.

The next generations didnt need the injections as they are born with the armour.

With the armour, magic came upon them. The first time a Yoronii uses magic, which most of the time is when they first experience Decay, freckles appear on their faces.

BASIC ANATOMY

The armour has to be on both arms AND legs. Please refer to trait guide 2/2 for the rarities regarding the armour!
Yoronii have a basic human anatomy as their ancestors were humans. They have flat cat-like noses, which can be simplified by just drawing an upside down triangle. Nose colours have no rarity. Just like the armour they HAVE to have freckles somewhere on the body. If you give your Yoronii a humanoid ear shape it has to be with a pointed tip.

TRAITS EXPLAINED

SKIN

You can use any colours for your Yoronii.
Gradients like adding blush in different colours is all common.
Adding markings or tattoos (aka sharp edges) is uncommon.

FRECKLES

EVERY Yoronii has to have freckles somewhere on their body when they reach the age of 1.

Theyre always symmetrically distributed.
That doesnt mean the freckles themselves have to be symmetrical but their place on the body.
So when your Yoronii has freckles on the left hand, they have to also be on the right hand.

Dots: Dots can be any size, however not as big so they count as markings. They appear randomly and are a must!
Symbols: have to be as small as the dots.
Constellations: These dots look like star constellations and are connected with thin lines.
Shaped: The dots are shaped into any kind of form.

EYES

A Yoronii can have:
2 eyes
more than 2 eyes
heterochromia (meaning the colours of the sclera/iris are not the same in all eyes)

sclera:

black
white
galaxy (can be any colour but has to include sparkly stars)

iris:

natural (green, brown, black or blue)
unnatural (any other colours than natural)
duo (2 or more colours)
none (no iris or pupil at all)
human pupil
no pupil (has iris but no pupil)

HORNS AND EARS:

Horns can come in many shapes and colours and do not count into the 'markings are uncommon'-rule!

1 or 2 Horns:
short
long

more than 2 horns

short ears
long ears
kemonomimi ears
more than 1 pair of ears

MISC:

Glas cuttouts: can be filled with anything, or be shattered etc
extra limbs
animal limbs (mostly accuring in the lower body half)
additional mouths (these mouths do not eat or speak)
monster limbs (the limbs have to have an armour as well!)
wings (can be any kind of wings in any size and number and on any bodypart)
planetary rings (these take different forms and are up to your creativity)
