Description species: mammal
relative: zebra
location: South-Africa
length: 2.5 meter long
status: extinct
when: 1883

We all known zebras as black and white...or is it white and black??
This one is an exception.
Quaggas are brown with white stripes from head to halfway its back.
They ones roamed huge areas inAfrica, but when people colonising Africa, quagga were the first victims.
Due of habitatloss (cause of farming) and hunting (food for workers and scared them off)

Grazy to hear but some scientist try to bring it back to live with genetics, almost like jurassic park. Ofcourse, thats for another story

Oh ok, but the Species isn’t mammal. The species is Equus quagga quagga. It’s a subspecies of the plains Zebra. It’s Class is Mammals though. Try learning a bit about taxonomic ranking and biological classification, it’ll help a lot in the long run
