those ppl have never had a pet rat before their loss really
they make great pets! smarter than any dog, very social xD and more portable to! u should get one now ;-;

thank you! usually my pics come out wicked blurry but he was standing very still for some reason and let me take his pictures, i think he was listening to something, perhaps the washing machine

Yes, it is most definitely a loss for them.
I would get a rat, but not everyone in my family likes them. Plus, I already have 3 dogs and 2 rabbits.
Hopefully when I'm older I'll get one, though.

oh noes that is awful,

i had that happen to my old hamster cream, she got one on her muzzle and a surgery would have cost 1,000 dollars

we would've got surgery, but she could've died with the anesthetic because of her age (4) so i made the decision to put her to sleep
