Sketch practice
after a long time , I think this is my first post(artwork) of 2018 xD Any feedback is appreciated ! The original drawing is "Shy Innocent Anime Girl" by Nina Nga Nguyen.

Well, anime/manga styles aren't my forte, and I see someone did seem to give some really helpful feedback. But I guess I do need to start practice on drawing hands myself. Hell, but it looks like you've got the eyes and the facial features locked down!

Eyes and hair look pretty good but fingers look kinda weird. The best way to draw hands or fingers is to see them as simple easy shapes. That way you will get better at them every time you draw them.
Drawing is basically only two steps. Recognize and Reproduce.
If you are drawing by looking at something else, then the first step is to correctly Recognize the shape you are about to draw. It maybe a head or eyes or anything. You have to see the shape for what it is.Even if it is just a line. See if that line is straight or slanted at an angle.
The next step is to Reproduce. It is drawing that shape onto your paper. The more accurately you make the shape, the more better your drawing will be.
Both steps are equally important. And Practice and experience will make you better.

I always tried escaping drawing hands because I find it difficult to draw them but then I felt that in order to learn I finally need to step out of my comfort zone ._. *sigh* Seeing them as shapes... i never thought about it like that..I will definitely try doing that.Thank you sooooo much for each and every valuable advises you share

Dont escape. If you cant do it properly, try to cheat, take a shortcut and somehow get it done. Only when you try, will you improve.
