the background caught my attention. Its a lot harder than it sounds to come up with a photo that tells a story in a single frame, but i think you've accomplished it perfectly with this one. The back lighting and the background set off the face just beautifully, and what looks like the dirt on her face is the perfect touch to the photo. Nice Work!
