Built as the final member of the Fowler Dock's in 1929, Rosaline has always been dedicated to quiet working. She quickly drifted away from her more naïve siblings, but still held love for them regardless.

The 1950's brought a quick end to any aspirations of hope she once held, with Modernization purges sending her siblings and loved ones to the sidings before anyone could realize what was happening. Her own withdrawal in 1959 after 30 years of service came as a quite devastating shock. She was purchased by a Sudrian foreman in 1963 who needed an engine with a small wheelbase for his workshop, saving her from a final scrapping, though not soon enough to save her mind.

Since re-entering service in 1970, she has been the Crovan's Gate Works shunting engine, though she'll often scurry off to the Norramby branch to destress over all that's happened to her.

She speaks with a fiery Scottish accent when she gets mad, which happens more than you might expect. She has an aggressive streak a mile wide, purely to prevent getting attached to someone and risk losing them, like her siblings and her friends. But underneath that crusty exterior, she has a heart of gold, and is dedicated to her craft as a pilot.
