Okay so i finally got my new lens, Sigma 10-20. Wanted to test it out but its night time, so i thought i'd try startrails. But its freezing outside and didn't wanna stand there making my flu worse.So, A sturdy tripod, my camera with shiny new lens, a remote trigger made from a cellphone handsfree and a clothes peg.
Set desired compostion, change shooting mode to continuous, click handsfree kit, attach peg and go back inside and have some hot chocolate.
79 shots, 25 sec exposure each at f4.5

great execution... i like the way you put it together... much better than doing one super long exposure... nice way of maintaining your ground exposure and still getting trails... great job man!

Nah bro, You create an image stack in photoshop, then painstakingly change each layers blend mode to lighten, except the last one.

Yeah, my uncle brought in in for me from the states. Worked out about $800 cheaper than locally. The how-to on the remote shutter can be found here [link]
