A Star Wars Trast A-A5 Speeder Truck.

Currently, this is the truck being used in a WotC D20 SWRPG campaign I'm involved with...

...its also a rather good experiment for me. I began in Inkscape with a simple line vector of the profile, worked with gradients, and produced a super clean looking vector image. Being that its 'out of character' that way, I exported the file in the GIMP to play with some RASTR effects and paint some shading. Then I got the bright idea to add some textures in an Overlay layer mode...

...So I downloaded some rust stock from and just copied a few swatches of rust, selected 'from clipboard' as my GIMP paint brush, and painted a bit until I was happy with coverage, and then switch the layer from Normal to Overlay. I do believe the results speak for themselves!
