So true.  I have one cardinal out there that has spots of white all over him.  Looks like he fell in bleach.  He's adorable.

Oh wow, that is odd.  You can tell he was not accidentally flying into the window, thinking it was open.  Did you feed him out the window and he was looking for more?

suezn In reply to PokeLoverMeso [2014-02-17 04:48:23 +0000 UTC]

I hope so too.  There is something to that.  It's strange sometimes.  I remember after I lost my mother, it was a few days later, this bird flew in my kitchen (little greyish bird) when I opened my back door.  I had a hard time getting the bird out, because I did not want it to hurt itself.  The bird finally tired and I held out a fly swatter so the bird could jump onto the flat part.  The bird did, and I went to the back door and released it and she flew away.  That is the only time in my life that I have experienced something so strange as that.

suezn In reply to PokeLoverMeso [2014-02-17 05:00:50 +0000 UTC]

I'm sorry to hear that.

I'm not sure what it means, but I think it is the bird telling us through a loved one's passing, that you need to get out of your rut, your house, and live life.  "Come outside" they seem to be saying.

may i ask what happened?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

suezn In reply to PokeLoverMeso [2014-02-17 07:09:40 +0000 UTC]

Many things that caused us to grow apart.  Sometimes it is more painful to hold on to something just for the sake of it, then it is to let it go.  So, I let go.

It's okay, and I initiated that.  Just takes time to adjust.

PokeLoverMeso In reply to suezn [2014-02-17 07:12:25 +0000 UTC]

yeah, my ex and i just had to many issues so i parted ways with her and never looked back cut all ties and have done my best to let go of my anger and just let it reside in the past althiugh it can be hard after over a year although marriage must be harder to let go of

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

suezn In reply to PokeLoverMeso [2014-02-17 07:18:05 +0000 UTC]

Well, heartache is heartache.  The difference in a marriage, is there is much more you loose; your familar home, neighborhood, etc.  I think we always feel grief when we feel a loss of the familar, the routine.  In my case, that is what I miss.  I am not angry or bitter, just the other losses and 10 years of my life.  I'm sure you are young, but your

heartache isn't any less felt than mine or at any age.  Each time, as you grow, you will be more confident in what you want and do not want.

Oh, I am 49.  I have a grown daughter as well.   Someone will come along when you least expect it.  That's been my experience thus far in life.

You could always trying the dating sites.  I know two people who met and married from Match.com.  There is someone out there for you, you can bet on that.
