Murder is third leading cause of death of indigenous Women, girls, and two-spirited peoples.

Indigenous women are more likely to be murdered on turtle island than any other ethnicity

and more then half of indigenous women experience sexual violence within their life

We wear red to represent for those who are troubled in the spirit world, trying to find their way back

to laid to rest peacefully. The red hand print representing survivors or family member who have lost loved ones

Canada has finally passed a motion that MMIW is now a Canada wide emergency
