Sleep mixes with endless contemplation, the thoughts amidst consciousness and slumber are unbroken and indefinably flow together. You succumb to the truth, or what you know to be it.
Unconscious, you must accept the truth; there lies the endless boundaries of thought from which you cannot escape at will.
And yet, when you awaken, this truth may be lost. Escaping from your mind altogether; its bare existence only within sight in the depths of unconsciousness.
Memories of this unreachable certainty, if existent at all, lie masked by vague and cryptic recollections.
It was just a dream? Was it? Or was it an attempt to deduce meaning in your life?
Now awake, you face the trials of life which reassert your call for reason.
Knowledge and emotion builds up, all while strengthening the never-ending urge for understanding that may never be unveiled.
Are you here to know? To feel? To simply be?
Will you uncover the impossible truth which will leave you content and all-knowing?
Will you chase after it, determined, even if it shall never be found?
Or, will you simply accept and disregard its existence all together, finding your own reason?
