I absolutely love the new Monster High G3 show. It's like Magic is Friendship but for goths, and I love the relationships between characters and the current story line. I decided I wanted to ponify the ghouls, and next up is Lagoona!
So I actually had an entirely different drawing for Lagoona, but completely redid it because her eyes looked weird and the pose was off. And after redoing it, she's actually one of my favorites of the set! I'm really happy with how she came out, even if there are a lot of colors going on lol.
There's a CGI show on Nick as well as some 2D animated shorts on Youtube, so I tried to the use the best elements from both. The colors are taken from the YT shorts, and the overall design plus the blue eyelashes are from the regular show. However, I included her freckles and forehead scales from the doll/YT shorts because I think they're really cute! I used her shirt design as her cutie mark because it's just really cool and I don't think it needed anything else added to it.
