Description ~ Forgiving what I've done
- What I've Done/ Linkin Park

Let this be another portrait of myself...

It's easier to blame and hurt yourself than accepting your mistake and learning to move on.

I'm learning to move on.

Yet another amazing piece I always have to sit and stare at your work, each little detail at a time to fully take it all in bacause it is so stunning! The hair is perfect as always (I still can't help but wonder how you do it!) and I love the lovely roses with their thorns you often put in your drawings. I see them as a reflection of who you are and your art style... perhaps because they remind me of your OCs' band name But they are always so pretty
The wounds look so realistic, and they don't just resemble real cuts when one hurts oneself, but I see pain, a much deeper pain that lies beneath the surface that we often harbor inside. I also love the look his face expresses; one at true peace. It is fulfilling.
The faces along the side in the background are interesting. They almost appear as angels to me. Am I wrong about that? If I may ask, what do they symbolize?
All in all, this is an amazing piece. You have outdone yourself

awww thank you very much! you're my number one fan!

i love roses with their thorns because they represent both beauty and death. all my OCs were born with that kind of character (something in contradiction like love/hate, filthy/beautiful, loving/cruel... etc.) that's why i like to put them in my drawings

in this picture, the concept is about forgiving oneself. so inspite of the fresh cuts on his arms, he bows down as to accept what has been done. the faces along the side are the faces he sees in the back of his mind. somes weep for him, somes look down at him. they are all in his head. they are like his past, his present, and his future... something that he will always be stuck with. it's kind of like what is said in Linkin Park's Papercut. anyway, he finally accept them all. he finally finds himself in peace because he can reconcile with his very self. the faces, the candles, and all the details are built in a stlyle of an arch to represent sanctuary.

and again, thank you very much for your wonderful comment i'm happy you like

I see now... Thank you for explaining, I really like your ideas. They are very thorough, creative, and you express so much through them.
Also, I think that many people can relate to these ideas with their own experiences, such as this one.

Keep up the good work, I know you already will...

And yes, I am your number one fan indeed
