Isato - Her father is a contradiction and their father-daughter relationship is just as complicated.

Kuri - Her mother is a very kind and understanding woman, who does her very best to ensure that her daughter has a stable, normal and loving home-life, a safe place if you will, away from the Clan's cold and often harsh ways. Partially, she can understand her daughter's pain, as she too is often treated as an outsider just for being a civilian instead of a kunoichi. Kuri is a deceptively soft looking woman that hides a wickedly sharp tongue and an iron will that cannot easily be broken, and even though she is merely a civilian she will fiercely fight anyone who dares to threaten her family in any way. Mother and daughter have a fairly close relationship, as in there's no unnecessary drama between them. Kuri provides the calm haven to Issa's storm.

Kazusa - By far, he is her closest friend, but is more like a big brother. He is her most precious person, if not sometimes quite annoying. Since he knows her so well, he can wheedle her out of her "too mature" persona and get her to act like her age. He's one of the few that can actually get her to smile and laugh freely. He's always looking out for her, but in his own often weird way. Their sparring sessions are a safe and fun way for Issa to release her ever compounding frustrations, as well as hone her battle skills. He also knows all(?) of her secrets~! Where she's most ticklish? Damn strait! Her weakness for green tea milkshakes and maneki-neko figurines? Of course, he started one of them after all! Her odd crush/rivalry on the Kazekage's arrogant little brat of a son? Yeah, that too. Unfortunately.

Matoi - She is respectful to her sensei and while she might not always heed her advice, Issa does listen and take note. Issa enjoys watching her sensei train and or fight using the Nunoshibari no Jutsu (Cloth Binding Technique). Issa admires her sensei greatly, because Matoi is the kind of Kunoichi that Issa hopes to one day become. Beautiful and strong, Matoi is stern with her students but always fair. However, Matoi does not allow any infighting among her students - she just won't have it. From personal experience, Matoi knows that a divided team is a defeated and possibly dead team, and when they do get caught, she'll punish them - generally by making them do the most tedious D-rank missions she can bribe others into handing over.

Saeko - The only team member that Issa actually gets along with, most of the time. They have their moments of ire, but generally they get along pretty well. She honestly finds Hayase and Issa's little tit for tat thing hilarious, because it's just so obvious. Although, it does tend to get a bit out of hand quite often as Hayase just doesn't know when to stop and Issa has deep insecurities that's covered by quite a bit of a temper underneath all the "maturity".

Hayase - The team member that Issa constantly clashes with, although she's not exactly sure why - there's just something about him that rubs her the wrong way. He just has a way of getting under her skin and making her "too mature" persona snap and she lunges right back at whatever he's said or done.

Unusual for most ninja, Issa uses bo-shuriken which are iron throwing darts, similar looking to senbon but thicker with linen flights on the ends instead of the common "throwing stars".

Her favorite foods include chazuke, uirō-mochi, green tea milkshakes and grilled foods. Her least favorite foods are nattō and all insides of an animal: tongue, gizzard, liver, heart ect.

She's weakest against lightning, which turns her sand to glass if powerful enough (Yes, she can fully appreciate the wild artistic beauty of fulgurite, but not so much when it comes at the cost of her personal sand) and water based jutsu, which weighs her sand down and makes it difficult to control.

A nervous tic of hers is to unconsciously try to tuck the left side her hair back behind her ear. Her fingernails are actually fairly long and painted; she takes very good care of them.

As a genin she wore the standard Sunagakure forehead protector on her forehead, but ditched the style after the Chūnin Exams. She wears the sand vessel like a backpack and the Sunagakure symbol is on the strap around it. Her sand vessel is a family heirloom that she inherited from her paternal aunt, Asumi. Just like Asumi, Issa needs the vessel in order to properly fight and control sand. Unfortunately, Issa would never meet her aunt as Asumi died fighting to protect everyone during the Fourth Shinobi World War. Isato kept the sand vessel in remembrance of his sweet, but strong baby sister and her sacrifice. Asumi is also the reason Isato was able to man-up and ask Kuri out, as Asumi wholeheartedly supported and encouraged his romantic interest in an outsider.

She's one of the shortest members of her Clan as she inherited the short gene from her mother. As she reaches adulthood, somewhere around twenty-ish and onward, she will have continued to let her hair grow out longer, but not too long, and will wear it in a low ponytail style similar to her mother's. Around this time she also gets her ears pierced.

Her favorite animal is the Sand Dune Cat. Nao, in particular, as he is her favorite cousin's summoning animal. Her least favorite animal is the Falcon, mainly on account of her teammate Hayase's annoyingly pompous and highly irritable summoning animal, Miyu. Neither Issa nor Miyu have liked one another since they first met and Issa's favorite nickname for Miyu is "buzzard".

She not-so-secretly, for some, adores maneki-neko (Beckoning Cat) figurines, and owns several. If you know her well enough, you can actually bribe her a little with one - but only with ones that she doesn't already own - she's a little picky even though she loves all of them. Kazusa gave her one as gift, his first gift to her actually though certainly not the last, and she's loved them dearly ever since. Despite not being a morning person, at all, she's surprisingly very cranky and sluggish in the mornings - she has a strict training regimen that she sticks to without fail. She is always working on honing her flexibility, balance, strength and endurance. She does this to make up for the fact that she's seen as one of the "lesser" members among her cousins by the older members of the Clan because of her "handicap". Unlike most of her fellow clansmen and clanswomen, like her cousin Kazusa, she needs to carry around a vessel of special chakra infused sand in order to manipulate it, since she was born without the ability to easily control and manipulate any sand at will. She can, to a small degree, manipulate sand that has not been infused with her chakra, but it is very difficult and drains her chakra quickly.
