Description
First demon painting for Cosmic Balance! This painting had one of the quickest turnarounds, which is part of the reason the environment is so sparse. Most of this was painted during a youtube marathon of goofy youtube creepypasta readings. I was originally campaigning to do all the demons as Hieronymus Bosch inspired things, but after going to Texas to playtest the game myself I realized a more standard demon type would serve the games binary Heaven vs Hell theme better. I like to imagine the demons start as those little snake larva and as they grow they physically evolve to a physical form best suited for whatever mini-biome of hellish subterrania they were spawned in. I'm always a sucker for worldbuilding stuff.
