Hahaha, my first reaction, I swear to god, was "Oh man, that's far out." AND THEN I READ YOUR ARTIST'S COMMENTS.
Hilarious, but seriously. The level of perspective and distance against the ground plane [which is crazily warped] is great! It almost makes this seem like a 3D model. I do dig the level of consistency with regards to some plane. Somewhere, ha.

I CAN SEE THE FUTURE MAN WOAH MAN LIKE WOAH MAN
Oh, thank you very much! This page was a total trip, even for me, as far as getting the whole page into a type of layout that i would enjoy. All i knew is i wanted to do something more physical and formed for this page, rather than super flattened and abstracted like some of the others. I've been really enjoying doing all this crazy, eclectic, abstract stuff, but at the same time i want to make sure it doesn't become a crutch of my work. This page still ended up being a lot more abstracted than i originally had envisioned, but i still completely love where it ended up, i think its a step in the right direction.

GET OUT MAH HEAD.
But yes, I mean, I definitely thing it goes beyond flat abstraction. It's like the warped isometric viewpoint used in Japanese woodcut art. Not quite 3D but definitely not straight-on. You have spatial planes obvious in this. Step in the right direction indeed!

NO NEVER I NEED TO KEEP MY THINGS IN HERE MY APARTMENT IS CRAMPED
To be honest, that sounds cool, but i don't think i've every consciously taken a look at any Japanese woodcut art. Any suggestions as to specific pieces or artists to look at? It sounds like it could be SERIOUSLY COOL. Regardless, it seems to encapsulate what I'm going for, so that's pretty neat. Huzzah!

Hishikawa Moronobu's a big name in ukiyo-e stuff. Ha, it's that weird perspective you use that kinda rings familiar to me such as in this > [link] and [link] . Of course, yours is much more stylised and unique. It's crazy to think that they're woodcuts~

Oh wow, those are totally interesting. Not a style of artwork i would normally enjoy (not because its bad or something, just personal tastes), but I see what you mean about the weird/broken perspective resemblance. Its also somewhat notable, in the sense that I just realized this style of stuff has a huge impact in one of my favorite artists, and i hadn't noticed until this point. So thanks for showing me dude! And yeah, the fact these are woodcuts is totally mindblowing.

Cool page bro.
I like the chicken/egg part, I never thought about the zit's origin before. The phrasing's a little redundant though, I heard the Mojo Jojo voice.
Also, I love how far Serge is splayed out, that's like me-style extreme.

I agree with you, i might revise it later.
Ah, thank you very much! Although i really don't know what you mean by "Me-style" extreme. Could you explain?

Straight up.
Yeah, always a good idea to do so a while afterwards, I actually rewrote a bit of MoW dialogue before print.
Uh, basically it strikes me as a concept I would have tried to pull off, only you stretched it out to Lars proportions.

I agree with you, that's a problem i have with this page, but you gotta press on! I was messing with a totally different type of layout and composition on this page, but i totally overlooked some of the issues with lighting and tones, so i ended up having some problems with that while in the process of making it. Next time!

Yeah, most definitely. I'm not too worried, you can really only get better with these kinds of things as long as you can recognize faults when there are any.
Anyway, thanks for the input!
