Character: Velvet (Pokemon Midnight Lycanroc OC)
Materials: Minky, sudecloth.
Size: Approx 11" tall to the top of her floof.
Ahhh check out this pretty girl~! Photos don't do her justice but I am so incredibly pleased with how she turned out~ I really like her design, and love the cute pose her commissioner requested too; I've been learning a lot about sitting plush recently which is wonderful. She turned out to be a bit more complicated than I anticipated (honestly what else is new?) and I must've made at least seven test heads and three finals before I was happy with it. Lots of handsewing on this one (all those claws~!) so I'm glad to have her done~
Velvet is made from snow, scarlet and ash minky. She features a machine embroidered face and foot pads. Her bandages are suedecloth with embroidered detailing, and her pendant is polymer clay with glitter detailing.

I don't think many teens nowdays understand German and Romanian and Latin as well as get all the references to Bible and history in their songs.
One of their songs has title that means Holly Testacles just so you get a grasp how ridiculus some songs get. I guess different people have different tastes but I'm glad you gave their music a try.

I have a pretty varied taste in music so I'll give most things a go. Aha it kind of goes with the genre though doesn't it? I used to listen to a bit of Rammstein, and exes were into a lot of that kind of music so I know how silly it can get haha

i really wanna try handsewing some pokemon myself and see how it turns out, truthfully i've been wanting to handsew some plushies to kinda sell but never have had the chance to do so myself, seeing handmade stuff like this give's me such inspiration, anything like this, handsewn plushies and/or clothing, clay sculptures, and even drawings/paintings/and sketches give me inspiration, just haven't had the time to try it! and ik this is probably a random question, but where do you find the supplies to be able to do such adorably cute plushies?! just any craft or fabric store?

I'm glad to hear that~ I always hope that I can help to inspire people to take up crafts, it's never too late to learn and it's such a rewarding thing to do~ It's not random at all aha. Unfortunately my local fabric stores don't stock the high quality minky I prefer to use, so I buy all of that online. Most other supplies, like pins, thread etc. I buy at my local craft and fabric stores~

ah so high quality fabric can't be bought in store's....? dang, that's a shame... and i've always been the creative type, i've mostly only done clay crafts but i've never gotten them baked and finished up! i even tried to see if i could of made Happy from Fairytail, didn't turn out the way i'd hope but hey, practice makes perfect and trying my hand at making handsewn plushies will be one of those things ^-^

Well, it depends on where you're located and what sort of fabric you're after. I live in Australia which has fairly limited stuff available, especially minky. My local fabric store has it, but only in a handful of colours and at a much lower quality than the brand I buy online (Shannon's) I think there are some stores in the US that stock it? I'm not entirely sure though. Other fabrics for accessories and clothing however I can generally find in store.
Definitely, practise makes perfect~ The best advice for anyone starting out is to lower your expectations aha. I tried to teach a friend to sew a few years back, but he gave up fairly quickly because his plush weren't the same level as mine, though I'd already been doing it for a few years by that point.
