Personality: He's very serious about his status as Crag's Area Master. Yashar is intimidating. Not only his looks, but his voice, the way he speaks, the way he moves - everything gives you signs of "you better back off". He's usually seen alone, as he tries to avoid company unless he's very, very comfortable with someone around him - and there's a really small group of those people, including most of legendaries and Arceus themselves. To gain his trust and promote one from 'annoying, persistent brat' to someone he could call an acquaintance at least, one has to be very patient and know exactly how to get to him.
He is pretty much power-centered. Since he stopped destroying things on purpose, he had to find something else to keep him interested and let him unleash the energy and aggression he keeps in himself. Speaking of that, Yashar is a very agressive person - whenever something (or someone) annoys him, seems problematic, or is not going the way he wanted, instead of trying again, he'd love to just crush it. Zero patience.
As for battles, one of the very few ways to gain his respect, or at least make him actually acknowledge you, is to be strong. Winning against the Yveltal himself is rather impossible, but show off, tell him how much you love battles, expose your guns, participate in battles in the Colosseum - he's yours. As much as he hates to admit it, Yashar usually looks down on weak people (unless they are pretty, fragile girls... he can forgive that.)

Once befriended and comfortable, he turns out to be kinda nice! Awkward, short-tempered, sometimes too serious, but still nice. Even caring.
Oh boy, never try to even get a scratch on your knee when you're near him, he's probably going to freak out. No hurting yourselves when Yashar is around.

He's usually the one who needs a joke to be explained.

Background: Since he was created, Yashar never understood why him, of all legendaries, had to possess a power, or more like, a curse, leading to complete destruction, even against his own will. Seeing how his 'siblings' were praised and worshipped by pokemon for creating the world, Yashar felt like he belonged to the very small group of legendaries who were more feared than adored. No wonder why.
Being still young, he had nothing better to do than to accept his fate and do what he's supposed to do - hurt and destroy, take away what's the most important from others to use it himself. It wasn't a life he expected to have, but he couldn't complain. At some point, he even enjoyed it! Seeing other legendaries work hard to fix what he did just to ruin everything once again - it was more than amusing. Gaining respect from fear? Even better. And maybe it would go like this forever if it wasn't for this one time...

Once his lifespan ended finally, he, once more, absorbed the life energy of everything and everyone around - making the whole area lifeless, turning the pokemon in it into stones. Looking at how mile by mile the place where he used to live, all the people he knew slowly giving up their existence for his sake - it broke him completely. And as much as he wanted to stop, to give it back - for he'd rather die completely than see this - he couldn't do anything.

And then he went to sleep for next 1,000 years.

The moment he woke up, the whole forest was as lively as he remembered from his early years, or even more if he squinted. Not a single trace of the destruction he himself caused before. Seeing pokemon run around happily and continuing their lives like nothing happened made him promise to himself to try his best to never harm anyone and anything.
But who knows what will happen in the future?...

- Rarely sleeps and if he does, he sleeps for over 12 hours and gets very aggressive if someone disturbs him.
- He is able to hide his wings as they are very troublesome with their size, however, it hurts a lot when he does so, so he tries to stick to one 'form' as long as possible. Usually uses his wings in battles.
- Pole dancing (sport, perverts, it's a sport) keeps his body in shape. However, he prefers to keep it a secret as it's usually associated with night clubs...
- The only flower he actually accepts and would like to have is red spider lily
